Ain’t No Rest for the Wicked

…and money don’t grow on trees. I’ve got bills to pay, and I haven’t been a good a friend to some of you lately. (Yeah, I know that’s not exactly how the lyrics go.)

I’m almost ready to start writing the final section of our Foundry Moth collaborative short story project. If you haven’t voted yet and want to participate, feel free to head over to the latest installment here and get to clickin’. I can’t wait to see how it all shakes out for Tesla, Edgar, and Nielson. Unless the pendulum swings in one direction soon, it’s going to be a monster mashup of choices one and two again. Mwahahaha!!

I’ve been nominated for a few awards by some super amazing people with innovative and interesting blogs of their own. I’ve been meaning to share the love, but we all know where that road of good intentions will lead you. ;) So I’ll be making up for my past sins with some blogging love over the next few weeks. If the pingbacks start flying, you’ll know why. xD

Sweet Blogging Award

So let’s get this started off with the Sweet Blogging Award (it’s wickedly sweet xD ). I’ve been nominated by The Sound of Laughter at Things that Make You LoL. If you ever need a good laugh, as I often do, this is the place to go. :)

The rules to this award (for me and all nominees) are:

  • Thank the Super Sweet Blogger that nominated them
  • Answer five super sweet questions
  • Include the Super Sweet Blogging award image in your blog post
  • Nominate a baker’s dozen (13) other bloggers
  • Notify your nominees on their blog

The 5 sweet questions:

Cookies or Cake?  Cake is a higher artform than cookies if executed to perfection (and I’m picky about my sweets).

Chocolate or Vanilla?  Depends if it is straight or combined with another flavor.  Chocolate if it is straight, especially with sea salt on top.  If I am mixing it with another flavor, then it’s vanilla.

Favorite Sweet Treat? A really, really, amazingly good tiramisu.

When do you crave sweet things the most? Breakfast.  Pancakes, waffles, oatmeal with brown sugar, cake, brownies, bacon with brown sugar, french toast, yeah, you name it, if it is sweet, chances are I’ll want to nom, nom, nom it for breakfast.

Sweet Nick Name? Sweet cakes, of course!  ;)
